“Sequence of Events,” a retrospective show on Saul Bass. The goal of this assignment was to create advertising and marketing materials for a retrospective show about an influential designer at an art museum. I admired much of Saul Bass’ work and chose to use him for a show at Cooper Hewitt. Saul Bass was an American graphic designer best known for his motion-picture title sequences, film posters, and corporate logos. Because of this, I wanted to create all the materials in a way that Saul Bass would. After much research, inspiration, and incorporating design elements of Bass in my work, I produced an 8-page brochure along with a poster and social media posts.
