Sicily’s is a family-oriented restaurant that takes pride in its original recipes and friendly, professional staff. Sicily’s website redesign aims to convert the site’s preexisting bland HTML format to something much more unique and modern. Due to this, the new website brings in features of the old site while incorporating a fresh, illustrative approach. To start, the cream background paired with the red text and visuals helps the site pop from its predecessor which in comparison, is poorly saturated. The large distinct headers better help break up information. Lastly, the overhauled arrangement of each page assists the consistency and user experience of the site. Overall, the bold typography, fun illustrations, and structured layout transform Sicily’s old site into something inviting and meaningful.
